Pre-school - Fifth Grade
Jesus and Me (JAM)
We explore the Bible in a variety of ways, using crafts, storytelling, games and topical themes that relate to things children like today.
We meet Sunday mornings at about 9:30 a.m. Children are dismissed from worship to join us for Sunday school. This is for 3-year-olds through 5th graders.
Every year, we lead the church in a service around Christmas and do something special in the spring. We also have an Easter egg hunt, Vacation Bible School and multiple family fun events for all ages.
YOuth
As the youth of Peace we meet Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. We hold events monthly, maybe dinner, game night or another activity that interests us as a group.
At 8;15 the Senior High Group digs into everyday life and talk about how we can grow in our faith. Looking at scripture and spiritual disciplines we can add to our lives to help us grow.
Confirmation is available for those who are in 6th - 8th grade
During this class we look at the history of the church and what it means to be a Methodist.

Adults
Craft Group
The Peace craft group meets on Tuesday evenings in the narthex from 7:00 to 8:30. Most crafters knit or crochet. Anyone is welcome to join doing any craft he or she wishes.
Music
Music is an integral part of worship at Peace UMC. We offer a Chancel Choir, Men's Choir, Handbell Choir, and a contemporary group called Leap of Faith. All of the groups practice weekly and perform once a month. In addition, once or twice a year (Easter and/or Christmas) a special Cantata is prepared with instrumentalists and narrators joining the chancel choir. Everyone is always welcome to participate and praise the Lord through music!
