Northcott neighborhood House
Northcott Neighborhood House provides Head Start Centers for children, a Fresh Start program to increase low income family home ownership and employment opportunities. It also provides food, clothing, a computer lab, GED education and summer activities for families.
In the Community
LINDA’S KIDS Inc. is a non-profit social service organization that collects and distributes necessities to children in need. LINDA’S KIDS staff members work at schools and assist students in need. Receiving these essential resources enhances self-esteem, improves quality of life and promotes hope for the future.
Once each month members gather to make sandwiches to be distributed for the hungry members of the community
night meal program
Meals are made and served for the poor and homeless under the direction and sponsorship of Summerfield United Methodist Church on Milwaukee's East Side.
Aluminum tabs from cans are collected to help offset expenses at the local Ronald McDonald House.
CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by local congregations or groups to raise funds to end hunger at home and around the world.

Paul Webster is a missionary with the Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church. He is a rural economic development specialist serving the needs of poor, rural peoples at the Mujila Falls Agriculture Centre in Kanyama, Zambia.
